I Want Comments On My Experiences

So when i was 7 i had a vaccine witch my body had a bad reaction to, now it's not like autism like so crazy people think. My brain started slowly losing function it wasn't until I was 8 that I was put in hospital after I my mum found I couldn't find where my mouth was. I then spent 6 months slowly losing ability as the doctors (very useless ones) tried to find out what I had but at this point they told my family I was going to die in 6 weeks at the most and to send me home, i dont remember anything about this time but apparently 6 weeks turned to 6 months and then i was showing signs of recovery. I then had to start learning everything from who my mum and dad are how to walk, how to go to the bathroom myself, how to eat soild food ( I actually did know but the idea made me feel sick) I still had issuses like touching anything metal my hand would just feel like it burning even if it was cold. I spent the rest of my school years and even a few after trying to recover (I left school at early due to my poor attendance) but at age 16 i was seen as a perfectly healthy kid i was still a little slow. At 19 we got the 'best doctors in the world' to look at my case (I was had health insurance at that stage) and they still dont understand what I had or how I didn't die, they further expanded that the fact I made a recovery was impossible. The best guess is I had a mutation in my genes causing my immune system to be more adaptable, but I still have some issuses I'll never fully recovery from, such as my poor English skills or my hands shake like I'm a 70 year old man and I have issuses with complex emotions (love, empathy, etc) but as of this day I'm as normal as I could be given my past not even considered disabled by the government for years now and are able to be fully independent (if the housing market was better anyway) I guess I wanted to type this here as to visualize everything and to see if others have other stories like it.

So. Since you are claiming this was caused by a vaccine...was it reported as a vaccine injury? Why didn't your parents seek for compensation if it was a vaccine injury?
Eadwyn · 26-30, M
@JaggedLittlePill because we agreed to having the shot and understand one death is better than a mass out break (sorry for the bluntness)
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Eadwyn that makes zero difference. Zero. That is not how vaccine injuries are handled.

There are real vaccine injuries. There is money put aside for that very reason. Of course your parents agreed to the vaccine. It is required and they wanted to protect you. That would not prevent them from.being able to be compensated for your medical care.

@JaggedLittlePill in what country?
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Eadwyn The United States...but there are vaccine compensation programs worldwide
Eadwyn · 26-30, M
@JaggedLittlePill well the fact I spelt mum like this is a dead give away isit
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Eadwyn Again. There are vaccine injury "adverse event" compensation programs worldwide. Including the UK.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
World health organization website is a great source for information
Eadwyn · 26-30, M
@JaggedLittlePill even if we had the same here I'll have to prove with out a doubt that's what caused it and we dont really know, we are just taking educationed guesses and dont have a full proof way to prove that was it unless I got another shot, and I'm not Australian I'm a kiwi
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Eadwynyou clearly have made up a story. I have told you twice now that these programs are worldwide but you keep acting as if you don't grasp that.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Eadwyn also ..that was my entire point.

Don't claim it is a vaccine injury unless it is proven to be so.
Eadwyn · 26-30, M
@JaggedLittlePill would you like to see my medical files?
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Eadwyn I don't need to see your medical files. Any worthwhile doctor would have assisted your parents in this if they truly believed you had an adverse reaction to a vaccine.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
It is also exactly this type of thing that fuels the vaccine debate and the crazies who believe that vaccines cause autism.

Anecdotal stories from people claiming they had an adverse reaction to a vaccine but have no actual proof of it nor did they report it.
Eadwyn · 26-30, M
@JaggedLittlePill and as I said we would have to prove without a doubt that's what caused it, and I imagine if my dad asked me if I wanted to be in it I would of said no due to that getting me classed as deasbled (witch I never wanted even if they would give me money for it witch they do)
