I Like to Walk and See Things When I Walk

I See More While Walking Now That I Can't See Well Enough To Drive... It is weird that I've passed over the invisible barrier of 20/40 vision (20/50 & 20/70 corrected now). So I have to walk places since their isn't much public transit. In the past 1.5 months, I've seen & learned much about my surroundings through my walks. I'm capable of a little over 12 miles in 3 plus hrs now.
As a result, I've actually noticed the following:
1. Barking dogs,
2/ Quite a few cute ladies out for a jog :-) (It is pretty demoralizing when they leave you in the dust, but my ankles, knees are not what they used to be) w or w/o baby strollers (really perambulating :-) for you wordsmiths out there)
3. A bottle with liquid at the same street lamp for weeks
4. Panels removed from electrical boxes?
5. Light planes overhead heading to the local airport
6. Alternate routes you would never find by car
7. That why yes the sidewalk connects under the bridge to the otherside - Yes a place to get out of the hot sun.
8. Why pale white folk do not tan well (burn actually repeatedly at first - now tan)
9. Why not to wear a dark shirt & slacks when it is 80+ degrees F and sunny (duh), but boy are you uncomfortable 3 hrs later.
10. How small you are to the traffic whizzing by and how much longer a simple trip to the pharmacy or grocery takes & gee you got to carry it back.
