I Don't Get It, I Don't Just Don't Understand
People who beg for attention from strangers. Not necessarily begging for money, because some are well dressed and healthy looking. But begging from attention, and then complaining about their color or the other person's supposed nationality.
This was the latest one:
'Come here, ma'am... I'm a black man! I haven't done anything!'... (practically wailing by now)....'I'm a black man!'
I didn't respond because he was acting weird and I don't know him, not because he happened to be a 'black man' (or teenager, for all I could see in the darkness).
This happens a lot. I also get women fussing at me when I make way for them, or glaring at me for no understandable reason.
I can't help everyone or do whatever they want me to. It's not racism.
