I Don't Get It, I Don't Just Don't Understand

My Mom goes off on me over the smallest of things even when the matter is not that serious. It could be standing up to someone for xyz or asking a coworker if I did something wrong because some employee claimed I did. Things that you'd think a parent would support you on rather than have a hissy fit over.
