I Hate to Be Told What to Do

Any single thing that doesn’t pertain to my tasked job, my coworker tells me not to do. Ex. extra cleaning. “Why are you doing this?” “You’re wasting you time“ “They don’t pay you to do this” It’s coming from a good place but it’s annoying; I keep doing it so you don’t have to say it every time.

the next time that "friend" tells you that you dont have to do it. Hand them the bottle or whatever and say thanks for doing it for me, youre right its so tiring being a good person.

I usually refer to coworkers as work friends as there is an implied cohesive group dynamic...@MarmeeMarch

The implied cohesive group dynamic does not include people like that so the use of friend was mockingly used on that person.@MarmeeMarch
