Thanks for sharing...I know the feeling of being raised as a "spanked girl." Even in teen years my biggest dread was being told to remove my skirt/pants and fetch the spoon or hairbrush...

I too got welts from mom's hair brush. I often got tanned by my dad's belt as well. I was always was told how much it hurt them then more than it hurt me...

I learned some of life's biggest lessons, taught by the hairbrush, over mom's lap when I was little.
