I Read Your Profiles

[c=#800055][big]MY GUESTBOOK[/big][/c]

In a question, last night, I mentioned the idea of a guestbook on our profiles.
I really like this idea. So, my one and only featured story, will be a guestbook.

This is it. Feel free to browse. I'll be updating my about me, occasionally, and adding new pictures, and deleting some old ones.

And if you'd like to sign my guestbook, please do it in the comments below. And if you have comments about what you have seen, good or not so good, please tell me about them. Keep it clean and polite, please.

Interesting idea. I guess you can consider this a signature.

@lasergraph Thank you. I posted it on suggestion for similar worlds. If you go and put your endorsement on the idea, maybe they'll consider it.

@Serenitree the problem is right now you have to be a vip to be able to see who has visited your profile ( which if you ask me is downright stupid) so having a guestbook would mean that you could see who has visited your profile without this special privilege and that just wouldn’t be right (sarcasticly). I wonder though what’s so special about being able to see who has visited your profile why should you have too pay for something so increamental (if that’s the right word).

@Highonheels I pay for my membership, and I have no idea who visits my profile. I pay for a couple of privileges, neither of which is keeping track of who visits and who doesn't. One being having the ability to post a whole heck of a lot of pictures with my responses to questions. The other seems to not matter much at all. I've been here since day one of SW, and haven't used up many of the blocks allowed to unpaid members, so I highly doubt I'll ever need to block 5000. 😂

There is one other reason. I'm helping to support a site I enjoy. The longer it lives, the happier I am. I don't check who visits, I don't check who is putting hearts on other people's posts. I do check to see who likes mine. I'd have to be uncaring to not want to know, and I do care.

So there you have it. I do want to know who visits, but I want to know why and what they thought of what they saw. Seeing a bunch of names, means nothing. Their thoughts are all I care about.

@Serenitree yea I hear you I’m not saying it’s a bad thing to financially support the site I get that and appreciate and respect those that do but I just don’t think that being able to see your profile visitors should be one of those special privileges only available to those VIP members , it’s such a inconsequential detail for VIP’s like you said who visited isn’t as important as thier comments and responses so if that’s the case why isn’t it available for all members.

@Highonheels Agreed. It should be standard courtesy to know who's been coming in and wandering through your space. And I think that might be a huge part of why so many people keep every little thing about themselves private. Like friends and photos, etc.

@Serenitree yea I agree with you for sure
