I Received A Life Changing Experience
My marriage started out perfect! We really WERE happy. The picture perfect family, two daughters, two careers that started from the bottom and had gone far. We bought a house in one of the best school districts in a neighborhood so safe we never locked our doors.
Everyone wanted to BE us. We had bowling on Sunday, softball every Friday and went out dancing Tuesday and Thursday. Friends and family we're always at our house because we had a game room that had more games, toys and liqueur than any bar around! We had the life! And we worked really, REALLY hard for everything we had. I graduated college with honors, he ended up TEACHING the apprenticeship program he went through! And the best part about ALL of it.... Is that we did it together, supporting each other the whole time! We were connected on a level most people couldn't even fathom! Nobody would let us be on the same team when we had game night because if we were put in the same team, we annihilated every time! We were living the perfect fairytale life. He was my Superman and I was his perfect, loving wife.
Don't get me wrong, things could sure get tough at times, but we weathered every storm together... "Just the two of us" (our wedding song)
We were going through the roughest patch we had seen to date. It started in September 08, The universe began cooking up it's master plan. Difficult, trying situations began relentlessly pouring down on my world, one after another, all piling on top of each other, till I was barely keeping my head above water!
Interesting how the first beam was circulated through the Large Hadron Collider at CERN on my exhusband's birthday September 10th, 2008... Which happens to be EXACTLY when EVERYTHING in my life for shaken up, flipped around, and turned into something resembling Bizzaro World!
I think the LHC opened up a new dimension and turned my Superman into Bizzaro.
