I Got The Slipper At School

I notice must describe their punishment as getting the slipper. I do wonder if this was really a slipper or a gym shoe. At school I got, and then as a deputy, used a real house slipper. The top was cut off to leave a very large leather sole that was fairly flexible. I can assure you that this whacked across a boys bottom hurt a lot more than a gym shoe, and still more if the offender was required to bend over and take it on the bare bottom. A slippering with a gym shoe seemed more of a tingle compared to the painful sting of a leather slipper on your bottom

At school "the slipper" was usually a plimsoll. At home it could be a carpet slipper but was often a plimsoll there too. We usually got the slipper though our knickers at school but it was always on the bare at home.
