I Get Migraine Headaches

Does anyone else find that crying a lot is a migraine trigger? I've got a killer one now that my rizatriptan isn't touching 🤕

Yep. Also, too much sleep occasionally does it, perfume, or stress.

I get headaches all the time but luckily not many migraines. I stopped drinking colas and eating chocolate when I was a kid and it helped. Hate the taste of cola now but I started having some chocolate after a 15 year break and I seem OK with it now.

Most of the time, I take Tylenol with codeine (and with Advil often) but for bad ones I have some Tramadol (technically Tramacet because it has tylenol too).

You can do Advil or another aspirin-based product at the same time as Tylenol since they are not in the same family.

@SW-User Oh, and the other big trigger for me is alcohol. I never know if I'll feel good or get a headache half an hour after having a drink. All too often I just pass all-together rather than risk it.

@zork0000 I barely drink anymore, usually only when I'm very anxious, because alcohol is one of the big triggers for me too.
It'll happen to me as well. Try taking Goodys Headache Powder. It's a miracle.

actually, I have codeine for this situation but I hate how it makes me feel
It's debilitating. Hope it passes soon.

Crying which may be a result of stress. Stress is a possible migraine trigger.

It's normal. Try and calm down
