I Dont Act My Age

I was at work over the weekend, and everyone was getting ready to go out on the pool deck. I teach swimming lessons. Many lessons all start at once, and there's this strange but beautiful hush just before lessons start. Kids are lined up at the meeting areas for their levels, and all us instructors are huddling in the staff room, silently watching the clock to rest as long as possible before lessons start.
20 seconds-ish before go time, I looked at everyone else in the room and said: "Well, I'm excited" and walked out onto the pool deck. The funny way lessons work, is if one person is out teaching, the other classes are sorta expected to start too, so I'm not sure the other instructors appreciated me sacrificing their glorious 20 seconds. xD
