I Appreciate Memorial Day

[c=#003BB2][big]Remember Our Fallen Today[/big][/c] - They are all heroes as they gave all for the rest of us.

Also remember the families and loved ones they left behind. They deserve to be in our thoughts and prayers today too.

I lost an uncle to the Korean war I never got to meet. 😢This video makes me cry, so bittersweet.💓I watched war movies all day yesterday.⭐God bless all our fallen hero's.

@Peaches: Sorry that the video makes you cry, and sorry for the loss of your uncle. But he was a true hero and I sincerely mean that.

@RealMustangGuy: Oh, they are good tears, thank you my friend. 😊You are always so very thoughtful.😘🍬

I appreciate your post thank you. If we could appreciate and remember them everyday of our lives, instead of just one, then.......

@softspokenman: You're welcome, and thanks for your reply. And yes, they deserve to be remembered every single day. We know their loss is remembered every single day by those they left behind.

Thanks for the beautiful post. I know that Memorial day was a while ago, but I'm so glad that I finally saw it today.

I can't think of anyone in my family who was in the military. I think that all (or almost all) of the men in my family were born too late to fight in one war and too soon to fight in the next. But I still have to remember to be thankful for the freedoms that I enjoy in this great country, and remember that freedom isn't free. There's always a price, and we should always be thankful to those who paid the ultimate price.

@TeresaRudolph71: You're welcome, and glad you got to see it. Thank you for your reply.

Whether any of us have family members who served, or whether or not we ourselves served, we can and should all be thankful for the sacrifices made by all who did, and especially by those who made the ultimate sacrifice. And I know you certainly feel that way as well.
