I suffer too. And where everything was manageable other than the migraines with medication.
I just got diagnosed with 5 micro fractures in my t spine.
Before it was just the two ruptured discs in my cervical spine.
Never had surgery just epidural
Injections.

Anyway see about getting gabupentin my copy is $5.

Not to make light of your situation but aren't you glad Obama care was shoved down your throat. I'm not. My premium went up 60% this year and I did not et to keep my dr. Oh and my deductible doubled this year.

Talljames, I'm sorry to hear about that. They never see anything when they run tests on me. Sometimes I wish they would find something so they could fix it. I've been dealing with this for about six years. I lost my insurance when I turned 26, but the Affordable Care Act caused my dad to lose his insurance. He's never been without health insurance, and his health is much worse than mine.

Nerve pain is the worst, I have both too. The only two things that took the edge off the nerve pain for me is Neurontin and lumbar traction. They also have cervical traction- which might help too. If I'm not mistaking the generic of Neurontin is cheap, maybe you can ask your pharmacy and if it's cheap enough call your Dr about it- they might send it. Only downside is that it can make you tired.

Melly, I don't get headaches very often. If I ever do get one, it's usually on the sides or the front. I take Midol for headaches.

@Melly -- It's both. The nerve pain is the worst. It sometimes makes it hard to walk or use my arms.

research Valerian and Hops (herbs) that I've used for pain. Especially Hops.

Do you get bad headaches that start at the back of your head?
