I Suffer From Chronic Pain

And it's bad today. There's still snow on the ground, and the sky is nearly cloudless for the first time in so many weeks. I wonder what the barometric pressure is like right now, because my right side is on fire. Neck, shoulder, side, arm, hip, leg... and then there's the migraine, which isn't bad right now. Not sure why, but it's a good thing. Except that I can't think through this pain.

What about you? How are you feeling today?

I am fortunate to not have to deal with chronic pain. Prior to open heart surgery in 2013, I went through a few months of symptoms of Angina and it terrified me. After the surgery, I still get occasional muscle cramps through the neck and arm and although it doesn't last I hate it. 24 years ago, I lost part of my heel in a lawn mowing accident and when I walk, it's as if I have a pebble in my shoe. All of those tiny, temporary pains I have struggled with. To have the far more significant pain and discomfort that you have on a regular basis, I can't even imagine young lady. I wish you didn't have to deal with it and I have no idea how you do. I haven't taken many pain meds over my lifetime, but when I have, I know they may dull the pain, but I also know how they made me feel and that too is unbelievably difficult. Even so, in the interactions that I have had or observed with you on here, you have an amazing attitude and your faith is a great witness. Sorry for finding an older post and commenting, but had a few extra minutes this morning and was scrolling.
