I Am Sick of Being Single
So, long story short, a mate of mine really likes this barmaid at our pub. She is really attractive and friendly. I thought she was gorgeous too. My mate has a fear of talking to women so I asked her out for him. I know women don鈥檛 normally like that, but still. Turns out she liked me. She goes away on holiday, I meet my mate tonight and tell him what she said. He was gutted about it but said he鈥檇 understand. I approach her tonight, ask for her number etc to find she got back with her ex just after she got back from holiday a few days ago. Is there a moral to this story? Probably not. Have I really lost anything? No. I waited to talk to my mate first. Still glad I did, but just really hate being single 馃槨
