@MarineBob Okay well install a glass break detector along with a motion detector and contact on the door so if two detectors go off well thats a person and tell the central to dispatch police, and the door should have two locks on it one lock with a thumbturn on the inside and the other a double cylinder witch you need a key to open it and unlock it but you only use the double lock when you leave for the day. You can get a lock that is two locks in one those are Abloy or medeco locks the Abloy is better but they are both expensive but good no one can copy the keys accept you but if you are going to do the back door why not do all the doors and you can tell the locksmith you want one key for them all. Oh those two locks can only be bought at a locksmith because of key control. Key control is good because at any given time if you are not sure how many keys you have for those locks you just call your locksmith give them you key pass code and they will tell you right away how many you have even if you made more keys after the installation. If you have young kids or teens and want to give keys well make two of the locks with what they call a user key this means there key will only only two doors as your key opens all doors why I say this is because kids loose keys so instead of changing all the locks you just change the keys for those to doors your key will still work of course you will have to tell the locksmith about this so they know what you want. Sorry I am a security expert. Oh you side you have an alarm system does everyone have there own code? They should because by everyone having their own code you will know who armed and disarmed your system.
