I Have Lost Weight

I'm still losing weight and I'm really proud of myself. I lost a lot of weight before- a few years ago, but I gained it back because I didn't make my way of eating, a way of life. Now I've decided that I'm choosing a healthy lifestyle over diets, and unhealthy meals in order to achieve my goal and maintain. I have high hopes this time around. :)

I know how you feel. Over 20 years ago, I lost 120 lbs and kept it off for a year and a half. I didn't incorporate what I learned into a lifestyle change and I gained 220 lbs.
I decided 6 years ago to do it again...and I did. This this time I made the changes, eating plan and exercise, permanent. I've kept off the weight now for about 3.5 years.

That's awesome! It's been a struggle for me ever since I left the military. I used to be really thin, and I prefer myself that way actually. When I got out I started packing on the pounds. I lost a lot and then gained it back rather quickly. This time I'm just sticking to a healthy lifestyle and exercise. Not a diet.

That's the best way to go. The reason why diets fail is because they are short term, band aid solutions to problems that need a continual structural foundation to success that only comes with lifestyle change.

ive lost weight before but sometimes i think i might have thyroid issues cause i gain when im not eating much unless its water weight
