We just got a new landlord as well. Apparently he lives out of state and prefers e-mail and app interactions rather than in person collections. Our previous landlord collected personally every month. New guy decided to jack up the rent $50.😞

@Jessmari Yeah, unfortunately a new owner can raise rates. I'm lucky I was spared. The old landlord did the "Pay an extra 50 or move out" trick on everyone.
