I Am a Vegetarian
I have been a vegetarian for a few years now and honestly I don't look back. :) I tried it out of curiosity and I enjoyed it more than meat so I stayed vegetarian.
However, what I don't like about being vegetarian is all the people that mock, judge or laugh at me for my lifestyle.
People assume vegetarian and vegan food tastes like crap based on the none or couple of vegetarian products they have tried in their life time. If I didn't enjoy the food, trust me I would not be eating it. :/ I don't make fun of meat-eaters or make any nasty comments towards them so I wish they would just be nicer towards me.
I know they don't have to be nicer but there is no harm in just leaving me be.
One thing that I have always loved about being vegetarian is that it allows for me to become more creative with my meals. I am naturally a creative person so I am drawn to the idea of coming up with new meals and learning new recipes. :)
Does anyone else get super judged and mocked for their choice to not eat meat? 馃 It would be nice to have someone I could relate to.
