I Have Mrsa
I've had MRSA around 3x now.
The first time was when I was 30. A little bit before I had my first knee surgery. I had it on my jaw. They cut it open, squeezed it out and then put cloth in it. I went in for 8 days to have it all checked out. It was very painful. I got anti-biotics.
The second time was several months later. It was in my nose. I popped it myself. I put a hot tea compress on it. And then again, more anti-biotics.
Several years later, I got it again on my cheek. ughhhh. Sooooo much more painful. It started out looking like a pimple. On the third day it was so swollen and hot. ER doctor didn't want to cut me open. I did compresses and anti-biotics. Today was the 5th day and I went into a walk-in clinic.
oh boy.
They cleaned and scrubbed the area. Then gave me some needles to numb it. This medicine stung like hell. I was literally crying and sobbing my heart out. It hurt so bad.
Cut it open a little. Squeeze. Then they cleaned it with salt water. Stuffed with some cloth. Gave me pain meds and a nice anti-biotic shot in the butt.
So I'm still a little traumatized.
I just found out I may be a carrier for MRSA and may just have to take a bleach bath once a week and use a peroxide face wash several times a week.
Either way I hope it gets all figured out.
