I Don't Always Act My Age

For me this is a bad thing.

In my head, I am still the 17 year old trying to be accepted. Trying to find the place I belong.

A kid trying to find the one person who is glad to see me. That leads to desperation as my much older shell grabs at attention and crushes the life out of it by clinging too hard.

I wish that kid would just go away.

I moved a lot as a kid. Not just in the same area but far. New York to Canada to Tennessee to the Midwest. Overseas a couple times/places.
Makes a guy awkward when they are the odd man out everywhere.

Dating was completely out of the question. The "weird" kid does not attract anyone. The only one i did attract as a kid was a giant mistake but thats another story.
