I Work Full Time

I Quit from Korean Giant Tech company in the world

I quit from the biggest IT tech korean company last year.. I can't mention the name but I believe everyone know it. It was unforgottable moment and hard times. I choose joined in IT startup company. It was different worked in stable company then switch to smaller one. At the first time i felt so much down within systems, undefined structure, undefined employmentm it was frustrated and irritated at the same time. I tried to face it. I got the lower position but they paid me more than manager position.. I couldn't match with their vision sometime they have unclear planning which is made me pissed off. When i was in big company they more focused in the big vision within clear state and achievement. I was desperated but i changed my mind to be more adaptive maybe i should learn from smaller companies then got all these experience
It's difficult to go from a mature company with established processes and methodologies to another where that structure is missing and can feel chaotic. Been there myself.

@BizSuitStacy yes it is i never been in smaller company. I still struggling for it. How do you cope with the situation?
@Theresia you have to be willing to embrace the chaos, the extra hours, the disagreements you'll have with other employees. If the company survives, it will develop a culture as it matures. Rational leadership will implement best practices around systems development and program management. You have to decide if you're going to stick it out. I didn't have the stomach for working with idiot cowboys and went back to a large company.

Change is always hard, I did the exact opposite that you did and I feel the new company has to much structure.... I am adjusting though and so will you. Hang in there

Sometimes you yourself may need to take initiative to streamline the process with the help of top management.

Hopefully this company will grow and get bigger.
