I Am Mixed Race

I am French Catalan, and Italian Ligurian, with Italian Venetian, and Swiss Romansch.

Lots of Latin, lots of Germanic. A mix up of styles, attitudes and racial characteristics

So, are peoples ethnicities or races? In history they speak of the race of french, the race of germans, etc but you say the term is now ethnicity?
