I Wanna Wish Everyone A Happy Independence Day

“Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. “Mankind.” That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it’s fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom… Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution… but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We’re going to live on! We’re going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!”

One of the best gosh darn speeches I've ever heard.
For a minute there I thought you were declaring war. Then I recognized the speech. It IS a good ‘un.
@Mamapolo2016 Haha. It -has- been awhile, but I'll have you know, my head is still -almost- screwed on right. I do love me some good scripts. I'm glad you recognized it!
Good to see you, Kayra.@KayraJordyn
You, too, my dear! @Mamapolo2016

@SW-User Well done... amusing... interesting... emotional... and worthy of research and, potentially, a good face-slapping. Lol.

One of my great, great, + grandfathers signed the Declaration of Independence. (One of two men called Morris. I'll let you guess which one.) You know, back when America was only almost the greatest country in the world. 🙄

(Are you at all pained by your character's fate? I've been a fan for so long!)

'Ey, only half of that was "nonsense". 😁 I cannot disagree. For such a "despicable" character his arch ends up making you see many sides of him, identifying with the feeling he managed, and disregarding the evil he had carried out, whether at his own hand or at some King's word. He also softened to Arya, although he would never admit he felt protective of that girl. He is certainly one of my favorite characters of the series. Also, anyone who finds an end made do by their worst fear in order to finalize a two-manned war has giant-sized cojones.

Thank you for sharing at my annoying prodding lol. ☺️
