And I dodged a major bullet
I was speeding to work going 80 in a 65 and I saw lights and heard a siren behind me. I was like Whelp, dammit.
The cop said good morning to me and was super nice about everything. Even though I didn't have my registration (it's up to date though) I ended up handing him my license and title instead.
He came back and said he was just going to give me a warning instead because if he was to give me a ticket, it would have almost been over 1k dollars in fees because my car and license is out of state. And since I'm a resident and go to work in a different state, I HAD to have my car registered and my license in the state. (which I didn't) so he just let me go.
Honestly so relieved because I just got two tickets off my record so I was excited about finally having a clean record and wasn't looking forward to getting another.
