On the bright side

The Dow Jones closed at another record high today. Obviously investors aren't as triggered as the media.

🤔Hmmm.
Mid pandemic with work at a premium; millions losing their livleyhoods; confusion and controversy over yet MORE borrowed money for 'stimulus' packages; 'domestic terrorists' (which is what they'd be called if they supported anything OTHER than Trump) ransacking capitol buildings.......and somehow mysteriously, the Dow Jones has a 'record day'.

@eli1601 Trouble is, all this borrowed money for business and personal stimulus packages is going to have to be paid back.
So whatever has caused the 'buoyancy' today is all based on sand.

UNLESS America starts to massively increase it's exports. Or somehow gets it's act together over covid and somehow manages a resurgence on trade.

No sign of either at the minute.
