I was informed today that a grade school friend has passed away from covid 19

We had no contact in our adult lives. But I never forgot him. Do we ever forget those childhood friends who made life such an adventure growing up?
Bobby if you can somehow read this, you were a great friend back in those days. You made me laugh a lot, a real comedian. We had fun running around your back yard doing stupid stuff and trick or treating on Halloween. I hope your life was full. I know it was too short.
