I Respect Writers, Writing Isn't Boring

The whole class was at that lake, celebrating the end of school and graduation. Alcohol was flowing freely and it was obviously many of us had consumed our limit. What were we thinking; it was likely we weren't thinking. How did the media find out? I never thought anyone would ever blab. I wouldn't have had sex with the whole group, if I knew someday I would run for office.

It wasn't supposed to play out that way. I waited for him, to come back. But he dropped me off at the lake coz i insisted to wanting to go to the lake even though it was after 1 am. I regret the stupid things i said in my drunkenness. I waited for him, i was sure he would turn back, even after an hour had passed. I was alone there, waiting. And he never came back. It broke my heart and our friendship.

That's a story I would have loved to hear Alcoholic Ed Kennedy recall in 1984- 15 years later.
