I Close My Eyes

I close my eyes and I see you, every time is like the first time. My heart beats rapidly at once, as I try desperately to touch you but my hands grasp nothing, just the cold air throughout the room. I can still see you so vividly. You smile and it warms my heart. I can only lie here and watch you as slowly you float up and dance around. I'd give anything to hold you just once more to feel your heart beating against mine. With every teardrop that falls, you wave your hand over my face. Instantly all of my tears turn into glitter and the sadness just fades away instantly. I smile and you return that smile with endless kisses from your loving lips. I long to wake from this dream, but only to have you with me in reality. If only all that I see and feel tonight would somehow come true when I open my eyes, I could stay here forever with you. Only with you, my precious angel.
