I Love Science And Nature Documentaries

One of my fondest memories growing up was Saturday evenings at my memaw's house with the smells of whatever she was cooking and the sound of the football or ba<x>seball game that pepaw and uncle Danny would have on the old RCA television. As I got older, there have been many time when I would turn on a sports game while I cooked something or while i was doing something else that was mindless and relaxing. That sound is soothing and brings such comfort to my soul.

Well, equally as wonderful, are science and nature documentaries...just in a different way. I could lose myself in the colors, the movement, the calm story telling voice of the narrator. I love the complexity and simplicity of this vast universe that we all share....the diversity, the cooperative and yet hierarchical interaction of all living things, the similarities between insect and human, the laws that govern everything. It's all so mind boggling and yet so grounding. It's beauty....amazing beauty.
