They don't happen by chance though. It takes a ton of communication with your partner and your prospective partner.

@Shayla No, they don't. And I almost added that to my post and removed it before hitting "send".

And they do in fact require a ton of communication, between everybody involved; and they're that much more work than a "standard" relationship.
