I Think We Create Too Many Rules
When I was at school they started running out of ideas for new rules. Desperate for something else to make life difficult, they brought in a one way system in the corridors, including which stairs we could ascend and which we could descend.
Presumably, like most school rules, it had no practical purpose so wasn't thought through. The system had to be abandoned the same day it was introduced because it made an entire wing of classrooms inaccessible.
