Basement Leak Estimates

I've had this corner in the basement that has let in water since day 1. Not a lot, just a trickle. Originally, I was told it was because of grading, and I did that, but it never really went away.

Well, since I'm probably going to be selling next year, it was put up or shut up.

Estimate #1: $8,000, dig out the outside of that wall and reseal.
Estimate #2: $33,000, but that was to redo the entire basement (for one corner that leaks).
Estimate #3: $8,000. This guy would essentially do what the guy in #1 would do, plus an internal drain tied to the outside along the wall and redo the sump. I think this is a winner.

The rest is all basic tuck point work and painting which we can do ourselves.
If you're moving then take the bulb out near that corner so you can't see it and call it good
@FairyGirlGemma 😆 There is no light in that corner, but I don't think I can hide it.

@FrosinStjarna Thank you for the insight. #3 didn't think any singular approach would resolve. So, he would do a j channel with a tile outside, and adding drainage inside, then tie the outside drain to inside (if this all makes sense). So, trapping surface water, and anything to the footing. The thing I really liked was the redo of the sump because he didn't think it was low enough.
