I Love Starcraft
Closing on 20 years. The original has a much more nitty gritty feel to it than the sequel which got its styled WoW'ed unfortunately. Not that SC2 is bad, it is definitely a B+ game but it doesn't beat the original A+ RTS.
I have mained Protoss since the beginning and that never changed, to this day they are my goto followed by Terran. It's odd because Protoss is considered the hardest race to learn and Zerg the easiest to pick up and play with, and yet I find Protoss to be my style while I am an absolute disaster with Zerg. Whatever floats the boat, right?
What I do miss is local LAN play. There were endless hours spent in basements kicking each other's asses over LAN. Most mained either Terran or Zerg. Having a good Protoss main is a valuable asset for your team, trust me. ;)
I don't play nearly as often as I used to and when I do it's typically SC2, but I've been getting a hankering on busting this open again lately. Maybe I will? Who knows.
