@newbie: it could be indeed a very good reason ....it is so easy too to switch their tighs when necessary ...

@Mrpauldavies: yes i can see they prefer them very short. i didnt know there was length rules, i thought they would just have to wear the official type. but of course some could put up the hem a bit to get more attention ?

@newbie: indeed , girls are proud to show their legs ( even with red colors after spanking??... )and to tease guys...

@Mrpauldavies: what is the reason for the different dress codes? it can't be about being cold for allowing tights if the neighboring school is forcing bare legs and thighs?

@newbie: It was common practice when I was at school to shorten our skirts by rolling the waistband.

@Mrpauldavies: We used to get the slipper for doing it.

@Mrpauldavies: It was treated more seriously than simply having a skirt that was too short. It was seen as deliberately flouting the rules.

@Sharon: Girls at my school did that and my wife says girls at her schools did too. Lots of girls got the slipper for it at my school. It was the same at my wife's school - she was a regular for the slipper for doing it.

@Mrpauldavies: Not by the standards of my day. Skirts too shorts; top buttons undone; hair not tied back; non-approved footwear. I would probably have got the cane for that little lot.
