I Think Age Is Just a Number

I wonder if you are right? My Husband is going to be 60 this year (I am 52) and he always tells me he doesn't have to find a younger women,like lots of guys do when their wives get older, because he married a younger woman to start with...

Still,after being married for 38 years,I think we both look about the same age,with me looking older..On the other hand,because we have been married to each other all our lives,we see each other,through all the years,every time we look at each other...I am not sure if that makes much sense,but it makes me see my Husband as the young man he was when we married..

Like I see who he is on the inside and the outside seems the same..His eyes are still just as beautiful as they were almost 4 decades ago and they still twinkle when they look at me...His smile is just as easy and contagious as it always has been...All I see when I look at my Husband is someone who loves me and that makes him the most handsome man anywhere..

However, it isn't only my Husband I am like this with..I let very few people get close to me,but the ones that I do let close,I only see who they are on the inside no matter how beautiful or plain the outside package is..🙂

well I see wisdom, life lessons, survival, a good father, dependability, understanding, compassion and most of all a man who I look up to and can trust when I look at my husband. He is 21 years older than me.

Obviously I don't have the perspective of a man but this does make so much sense to me: a younger woman makes an older man feel young. (And I guess a younger man makes an older woman, likewise)
