Snoring My God

The wife snores like a tank its unbearable at times it goes right through you .I sware the whole house shakes .I am always poking her and telling her to shut up often sleeping in the living room on our settee to get any sleep at all as I am an insomnia sufferer.The wife will sleep through heavy thunderstorms not a wonder as I am sure she is louder than any thunderclap .Yet she wont have it when I tell her .I have even recorded her and she told me it wasnt her she is in complete denial .

I think you simply need earplugs, like Odysseus. Formable earplugs made of wax are the best. Good luck to you!

@helenSI have tried all sorts of earplugs they dont work .I have even worn headphones playing music and couldnt drown out the noise .

@Rhodesianman There are special anti-noise headphones which work by using a destructive interference effect. But somehow this does not seem appropriate for a man and his wife 😐

Have her do a sleep study; it's possible she has obstructive sleep apnea. My husband has it, and sleeps with a Bipap machine.
