I Want to Thank Everyone Who Ever Served In the U S Military

Today 100 years ago at the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month WWI ended. To all who have ever worn the uniform of the United States Military I say thank you for your service. God bless you all.

and thanks to Private George Price, the last Canadian soldier and the last British Commonwealth soldier, to die in WW1, shot by a sniper 2 minutes before the Armistice, thus doing a great job in showing the futility of war

@dunpender the style of war has changed to a series of more or less permanent wars on a smaller acale, like Israel against Palestinians since 1948, but we're still basically a bunch of mutated monkeys fighting over the best food trees

@dunpender when a Russian or American army strides into a country talking about saving someone I automatically assume it's a load of bs but I don't know much about the Korean war
