How can I make my sister feel better ?

My sister is on disabilities and special needs they're doing vaccines today for special needs people she's going to get hers she's kind of nervous. She hates needles she's worried it'll hurt or she'll get sick from it. How can I help her feel better ? She wants to know does it hurt that bad ?
