I Think Women Are Beautiful

....which is nothing to do with militant feminism, which is ugly and senseless!!!!
Fernie · F
You haven't got a CLUE what "militant feminism" is child. You are enjoying the rights and freedoms you have RIGHT NOW because of MILITANT FEMINISTS! Your welcome! you'd STILL not be able to vote, own property (because you would BE property)get an education, not be legally raped by your husband, you'd have to get pregnant even if you already had 8 kids, you can have your own money and a job now, it is no longer legal for a man to beat his wife...militant feminists gave you that...too many your age have no idea what your life would be like if not for those women...you take your freedoms all for granted. The word Feminism has been demonized by sexist males who don't want to lose power over us and women like you who need an education on the subject. If my words make you angry...then you'll prove me right...no clue

@Anon066male insecurity alert! What male, unevolved nonsense you spew. Sorry dude...your reign is over. EVOLVE!!!!!

@Anon066 Note that people attacked the 1st wave feminists that you revere in exactly the same ways people attack the modern set - the vast majority of whom aren't anywhere near as radical as you pretend. Man haters, spinsters, ugly, lesbo - all the same shit.

@Anon066 I'm not sure you know what "intersectionality" even means. No, it is not an attack on "white" cis males (though some do it that way).
But, imagine if you were "black" and gay. Not only does one face discrimination just for being "black," but also gay. Now think classism... "black," gay, and financially poor? Then think "black," gay, financially poor, with mental health and/or physical health issues.

I always like to post about "white" Appalachian people videos but no one seems to give a shit about it.

Quixotic idk if you'll see this or not since I can't respond above but sure, do you have a point?

Statements stand or fall based on their merit. What do similarities in response mean at all? You think comparing pushback half a century ago to pushback now is valid?

And no, they aren't less extreme than we pretend them to be. They're more extreme if anything. I'm talking the sarkeesian's (sp) of the world. They're a very small minority of those that call themselves feminists, most who say they're that believe in first wave equality based feminism. But the leaders of the "movement" are very extreme. They've fought against men's groups on campuses. They completely ignore all male issues and insult those, male and female, that discuss them. They're fighting against science regarding things like the biological differences between the sexes. They fight for sexist policies like diversity quotas. And they're not even about feminism anymore, they're almost all entrenched in intersectionality. Look at how they treat people like Christina Hoff sommers, heather mcdonald, Janice fiamengo etc.

@QuixoticSoul I stongly disagree, nothing he said is even remotely questionable in the literature. It's incredibly basic.

Listen to heather heying and bret weinstein talk on it.

Anon066 · 31-35, M
@Harriet03 there's not a she on this subthread.

Are you referring to the 80iq woman who completely embarrassed herself throwing a temper tantrum before blocking me like a coward?
Fauxmyope2 · 26-30, F
I am thankful for all of the women and men that have fought for the opportunities and rights that I have today. I hope that women and men will continue to work towards creating equal opportunities and equality everywhere for all people.
Anon066 · 31-35, M
Phire obviously that's what it means, the problem is the application that creates a hierarchy of oppression. It also focuses on things of much less significance and ignores much more significant ones. It divides society into oppressed vs oppressors.

Intelligence and wealth are drastically more important than race or sexuality for example. Yet a wealthy, smart gay black man is considered more oppressed than a poor, not very smart, straight white man.

There are wayyyyyyyyyyyy too many factors to even try to determin who is more privileged than others. It's just a tool to divide and use people.

Women in the U.S. have the right to vote but there ARE some folks out there who would like to take that right away...
Fernie · F
@Phire1 damn right! Many want us back under their control, barefoot and pregnant, useful only in the bedroom and kitchen, obedient...ain't gonna happen
Phire1 · 51-55, F
@Fernie I read what you said earlier, Fernie. It surely was direct and got ME to re-think some things.
I have not been too fond of the current "feminist" realm, but I still get it. I have been within feminist/anti-feminist groups online and part of what I keep finding in such realms are men who think their issues are ignored... and some who do NOT want women to have a vote anymore. It has seemed, to me, that the second progress has been made there are people who want to rip it back down. That is the part I don't think many truly understand.
Anon066 · 31-35, M
Tfw one of these feminists decides to completely epitomize ugliness and senselessness just to hammer your point home.
[c=#359E00]Equal rights and opportunities![/c]
Men can be fetching, too.

This attitude makes you even hotter lol.

Equal rights and opportunities are neither ugly nor senseless. Of course, assuming one doesn’t just mean “Women Are Beautiful” in an ornamental or decorative sense. 🤔
