I Philosophize

Everything is now fleeting. Nothing seems to last anymore. Nobody takes the time to look, to feel, to stay awhile. It seems to be a dying art, being a permanent connection in somebody's life is becoming something obsolete.

We are filled with infinite ways to communicate with people but never really communicating seems to be commonplace. People just don't take the time anymore. It now always seems to be about moving on to the next person, thing or obsession. Never taking the time to nurture the communication and the connection with the people you care about seems to cause connections to eventually die out.

Not finding the time to give to a person you care about is the ultimate form of betrayal. Becoming indifferent and slowly fading away is equally if not more cruel than facing the person and telling them you do not wish to be part of their lives anymore.

I'll never get people who easily replace human beings with other human beings and material things. These are the phoniest and most insincere people around. They are the new invasion force taking over the souls of humanity, leaving in their wake kind souls who cared for them only to be thrown away without a care, never to ever be given a thought to again.

Replacing hearts and souls with something or somebody new is the current art form of existence for many people today. The long term lifers who dare to take the time and make the effort are now easily being replaced by those who just don't give a damn about people with genuine souls.

Very truly said. No one has time anymore to communicate. Taking pics or snaps or videos is a form of get together. I’m with my family since last few days but no one except my sister has asked me how i really am. Everyone only asks it for formality, no one wants to hear what the other person is going through or their joys. Even going out someplace is to take pics. No one is really ‘there’ at the place. They all just want to share pics with their fb friends. Heart to heart communication has been lost. But i’m glad i have two people in my life with whom i have that connection and with whom i can really communicate anything and everything.

Great post. Thanks for sharing. :)

What you have written is frightfully true. It takes a lot of energy to nurture relationships. There is also the maturity factor. In times past, people were not commodities, but permanent fixtures in our life. We cherished them, appreciated them and loved them.

Now, let's move on to another relationship, and keep this cycle going. Is it any wonder, why we are never happy! Thank you for that writing, it was very timely.

Very good write my friend, at a very rapid pace I might add. The new technology is abused for things it is not intended for IMO, keeping everyone preoccupied which makes it easy to fill one needs with anyone they choose, at the tap of a finger.

Honesty, loyalty, dedication and genuine love does not mean much of anything anymore :/
Everyone should read this...you have made some valid points and It’s truly disheartening how we as a people treat others at times. We shouldn’t be disposable. Great post,,

I am so glad you expanded your thoughts on this subject.
The pure souls are the ones that hurt the most, but they are also the ones that never give up.

I like your thoughts here. Technology is taking a toll on peoples lives. Everyone walks around with a smartphone attached to their ears. I think I am the only person in the world who doesn't own one.

@SW-User The last ones who dare to use logic, common sense and critical thought...

@therighttothink50 spot on👍
So very true, everything these days is for the moment, no one wants to put the time and effort into connections or anything in life. The word permanent has been replaced by temporary.

Another truly wonderful peace, we are a disposable society now, we do not foster relationships put in the time to cultivate them, nurture them and love them, haunting and very truthful

P.S. I came across this really good short story/poem and photo that depicts this on-line/cyber world quite well if you care to see it. You would appreciate it I think. :-)

Your words are sadly, so very accurate, for these times we live in.

I'm sorry it is a different world now a throwaway world we live in if it is broken don't fix it heave it ti the curb... Relationships are like that now the family structure is gone, everyone for themselves... @Raffie You are right it takes energy, work, and a lot of love, maturity, and compaction to make a relationship.. Maybe all is lost now, then again maybe there is hope...
