I Know That Disagreement Is Not Hatred

Not necessarily.
Opinions vary as much as people.
And while this is often fodder to inflame hatred that already exists...
Disagreement doesn't really need to, or shouldn't actually create hatred.
I've disagreed with many and quite vigorously as I've been disagreed with in turn.
I don't count every disagreement as a new enemy to add to my shit list.
Funny thing is, I've made quite a few positive acquaintances in spite of vigorous disagreement.
Disagreement in conversations can present an argument with points that poke holes in a world view too tightly adhered to. That can feel personal and threatening.
It's the emotional response to disagreement that feeds hatred.
Disagreement in itself is not hatred..
Opinions, even contradictory ones are not incompatible with human decency.
I've witnessed this many times through life.
By all means, push your point, defend it.. Critique and point out facts and flaws..
It can be a hell of a learning process for both sides.
When personal attacks are left out, or at least minimised if you just can't help yourself.. (we as human beings all have a choice whether or not to do so)..
The flames of hate are deprived of fuel and disagreement becomes just that..
simple disagreement, not all consuming hatred.

I agree everybody sees the world differently. The world would be boring if we all thought the same way.

I smile at my enemies, like in the workplace you say 'Good morning'
although in the brain that person is getting stabbed lol
