I Can Be Moral Without Religious Pedagogy

No victim, no crime
I think something immoral is something that causes suffering. I don't think I need religion to figure that out.

I don't need religion to figure out that if I do something nice for someone, I will be accepted and feel better.

and that if I do something that causes suffering, I will feel guilt for ruining a relationship and I understand that I will be ostracised.

I think morality is ba<x>sed on logic and empathy.

I rejected my faith several years ago.
The whole infanticide, no remission without bloodshed and the slavery crap are just some of the reasons why I will hate never have respect for this disgusting, perverted and obsolete superstition.
I can respect any individual as a person, but never look up to a sheep that blindly accepts this like their doctrine tells them to.
It's anti-intellectualism. Garbage.

Faith is poison and is a deterrent to learning truth about the world because it sustains confirmation bias and cognative dissonance.

"If someone genuinely believes that iti s right to believe things without reason or evidence then they are open to every kind of dogma, whim, coercion, or dangerous infectious idea that's around
If someone is convinced that it is acceptable to ba<x>se their beliefs on what is written in an ancient book, or what some teacher tells them they must believe, then they will have no true freedom of thought; they will be trapped by their faith into inconsistency and untruths because they are unable to throw out false ideas when evidence against them comes along." ~ Susan Blackmore

I think even if destructive behavious in certain individuals are shown to be genetic, those behaviors are generally triggered by something in their environment because I still think all humans are naturally empathetic and desiring acceptance. I think Violent behavior is usually the outcome of some kind of imbalance or a need that has not been met.
I'm not excusing what they do. I'm just saying that it usually has some cause ba<x>sed on their environment. like childhood experiences or how they were treated.

linking that to my political beliefs. I believe in a resource ba<x>sed economy. So essentially everything is socialized and everything is dependent on production. of course in this day and age we have no need for money because we have machines to do the job for us. With public ownership and resources managed for the population, it leaves more room for advancements in science, the collective knowledge of humanity. I think the problem with everything is that people see the world as unlimited and therefore exploit resources and people. Its imbalance. This system works in small tribal like groups and I think its possible that it can be extended to larger communities and countries.

I probably sound crazy but if you think about why wars are caused and why people end up poverse and starving, its because of that imbalence.

I see nationalism as poison like religion.
Both are equally stupid in their "I am better than you because just because." If we were to get rid of both then we'd only have wars over natural resources, a reduction of about 90%. I doubt that will ever happen though. Humans have this primordial urge to organize themselves in some pack-like structure, which made sense when hunting-gathering but is almost completely redundant now.
every human is pretty much the same. countries are just lines drawn by greedy politicians.
