I Watched a Movie

I watched the movie Blind (2017). The movie is about a romantic love between a writer, who lost wife in an accident, and a merchant's wife, whose husband was captured in a prison for some few months. Because of her husband's business, she was claimed to do 100 hours of community service by taking the blind man's place and read stories for him. The love grew between them after some weeks. They slept with each other. However, the affair ended when her husband was released from the prison. Then, as any romantic movie, they came up together again.

Many people commented that this was the most romantic movie they have ever watched. This made me watch this movie. I hoped this movie was somehow like the best movies such as The lovely bone, Aftershock, The intouchables, Pursue to happiness but it is not. I feel Suzanne, the woman in the story, is a selfish lady. When she knew that her husband had someone else besides her, she went with the blind man. She also looked for him again when she found that her husband still kept the affair with her. Without finding this true, the ending would be very different. She was selfish to hurt someone and kept him as the second option.

I also think if women are soft-heart in difficult situations and that is how men can access to their heart easily? Maybe. But they still have some different choices, instead of being with another men. Will those relationships last long?

I'm a little confused with how the blind man came into the story, but no a relationship like that is doomed sooner or later. How could you live like that treating your partner like that ?

@MURD3RM0NK3Y The blind man was looking for someone to read his students'papers for him. He became blind after the accident, in which his wife passed away. He lost his passion to write and became a literature professor
