I Want A Date

I went on a date three nights ago with a guy I met in college but it ended up not working out. He was too vain, self absorbed and.....yeah. I hate to say this but my guy friend was right about him. I HATE for him to be right about this kind of thing. Guys are ALWAYS right about these things. :(
I never have any luck towards guys.

Sorry...you're still young. You'd find better dates as you walk through the span of a lifetime and at some point stop dating because you have found the one to spend the rest of your life with. Good luck and don't sulk. As they say, there are many fishes in the ocean. Wait for the best fish which won't try to slip off your hand. 😉

Well at least you know for sure what he is like. There are lots of great men out there so keep dating and you will meet that special guy.

I think what you really mean is that people of the same gender as the person you are seeing often have a clearer picture of who that person really is. The novelist John D. McDonald commented in one of his Travis McGee novels, in the person of his character McGee, that a woman should be wary of any man who is generally disliked by other men, and men should be wary of a woman whom other women avoid. Generally, from my own experience, this is true.

I’ll be the first to admit guys ARE NOT right about everything.

I don’t believe in Jesus...

But I’d agree no one is right about everything.

I’m EXTREMELY blunt myself.

I think it’s good to be blunt. but there’s a time an place for it.

I always feel like I win arguments but I think about it later.

An at times realize the other person was right. Sometimes the other person was a dude, but sometimes that other person was a women 🤷🏻‍♂️.

It’s beyond silly to think men are always right. Or that that women are always right.

Maybe domineering, possessive, narcissistic, alpha types are who you are unfortunate enough to be attracted to?? :(

Well; the guy actually knew the guy judging from your previous post before this one about it.
