Daily crush update
Today during lunch break he was on his phone and waiting for me until I was done with my lunch. In the second half I go to my quiet spot to say my prayers. He comes with me there and tells me this is a nice spot for him to smoke. I ask him why he smokes to which he replies, "I have no explanation to that." I told him he should not get away with that and must confront it. Then he proceeds to take out his cigarette and lights it.
I couldn't stay there much longer and moved away.
He comes back to me after a while and says, "I know it was awkward but you need to see me at my worst."
I replied, "Just because this is your worst, it doesn't mean you have to remain at this stage forever. Others might tell you it's okay and do whatever floats your boat, but I need to tell you that what you are doing to yourself is bad."
He says, "I know it's bad."
Me: "And you must stop."
Him: "I hear you."
After he was done, we chat for a bit. He mentions how he is glad he left college because those days it was all drinking, and smoking up and passing out. And he needed to leave that place to get ahead in life.
