How many pages should I make it a goal to read per week?

As many as you enjoy reading. If you force yourself to make a quota, you'll lose enjoyment of the book, and won't pay any attention to what's going on, and basically have just wasted all that effort.

But if you're enjoying the reading, you could read an entire 1000-page book in one sitting!

I guess it depends on the book and your reading level.

Warren Buffett reads about 1000 pages a day.... You can try that.

As many as you want if whatever you want.
