I Love Starry Nights

@SW-User haha it's something I would paint on a day off... seriously. I get it though, he has status. 🤷

@MartinTheFirst prove it! and paint it... it's not as easy as you think it looks... the strokes, the colors, the ambience... I rather doubt it.. ;)

@SW-User I have, it's usually how I warm up. I merely don't paint that way because 1# i don't think it looks good and 2# no one else would either

@SW-User here's a hint of it, I played around with color for 30 minutes. it looked a lot more like it in the beginning but as you see I covered it up with black because that's my personal preference.

This is what I like doing though. I'm a perfectionist in my art and I love perfect lines.

@MartinTheFirst it's the same with Van Gogh... no one liked his Starry Night until after his death.
I really like your color choices... and the second one is beautiful! 30 minutes? Wow .. they are all impressive.

@SW-User thank you, but one shouldn't do what one doesn't enjoy, lol. That's what I'm saying, people like it now because he has a sad story. Of course there will be the ones who really genuinely likes it without even caring about him, but the ones who only likes it because it's hype would never admit to that.

@MartinTheFirst that's quite possible but this particular one is quite mesmerizing.. hard to take your eyes away.
