I did too; still do to an extent. I found when it was at its worst, pacing and breathing evenly helped to calm me quicker than anything else.
Now, all I have to do is recognize the symptom for what it is.....anxiety. Look for a genuine cause.....usually there isn't one. Remind myself that I am still in control. Breathe and force myself to relax. Sometimes just repeating over and over again
"I'm fine" helps.
