I Am Watching The World Cup

i'm not an avid football supporter but I did watch the World Cup game last night between England and Tunisia and was amazed at the incompetence of the referee. I don't think you'd have chosen him to referee a match on the local park let alone at the World Cup. And I can see why football supporters make up rude rhymes questioning the referees parentage after a display like that ! 馃槃

I'm an England fan. No referee in England would have given the penalty to Tunisia - there's always a little pushing, football isn't a no-contact sport. Penalties might have been given though for manhandling Kane at corners - that was so extreme and the defender never even thought about going for the ball.

Still, right result in the end.
